Samvaad Fellowship seeks to extend Samvaad footprints across the nation through promoting tribal culture as ideated by the tribal communities themselves. 

Over the last decade, the Samvaad Fellowship has enabled tribal communities to reclaim and strengthen their cultural heritage through community‑driven action research. With 64 Fellows and 79 cultural outputs across India, the Fellowship supports indigenous languages, arts, rituals, and knowledge systems at risk transforming documentation into living cultural practices reviving endangered indigenous practices languages, arts, rituals, and customs ensuring cultural continuity, pride, and identity for future generations.

Details of the Fellowship

• Samvaad Fellowship is open only to applicants belonging to Scheduled Tribe across India, the applicant should be between 18-40 years of age as on 15th July, 2026

• Last date for application submission: 15th July, 2026
