The programme is designed to strengthen knowledge, practical skills and international cooperation in the management, conservation, documentation and communication of Cultural Heritage across the Mediterranean region.
Developing Inclusive Education in the Mediterranean, a partnership of seven organizations from Italy, Spain, Jordan, Spain, Tunisia, Egypt, and Palestine, implemented with the financial support of the European Union (EU) under the Interreg NEXT MED Program, is pleased to invite applications for its International Training of Trainers (ToT) Program.
The program aims to strengthen the capacities of professionals working in the cultural heritage sector by providing high-quality international training in heritage management, conservation, valorization, digital innovation, and community engagement.
Selected participants will become members of Group A of the DIEM Cascade Training Model and will play a key role in transferring the knowledge and skills acquired during the program to other professionals and local stakeholders.
The Training Programme
The Group A Training Program is structured into three progressive phases, combining online learning with practical collaboration and international exchange.
Participants will attend expert-led online lectures delivered in English by international specialists, covering key topics in cultural heritage management, conservation, documentation, governance, and best practices. All lectures will be recorded and made available on the DIEM digital platform with subtitles in partner languages.
Participants will take part in interactive online sessions focused on the development of Management and Communication Plans for cultural heritage pilot sites. This phase includes practical exercises, case studies, and concludes with a short online assessment required for obtaining the program Micro-credential (Open Badge format, subject to Sapienza University of Rome approval).
Selected participants will join an intensive in-person workshop in Jordan, where they will collaborate with project experts and partners to develop draft Management and Communication Plans for pilot sites and contribute to the design of the Group C Training Toolkit.
Note: Travel and accommodation costs will be covered by the DIEM Project
