Aim of the Programme

The program aims to equip participants with knowledge of resilient and sustainable civil engineering through emerging technologies, innovative construction practices, and industryoriented solutions.

Course Content

The Faculty Development Programme covers emerging topics in resilient and sustainable civil engineering by integrating academic knowledge with industry practices. The programme includes modern civil engineering practices, resilient infrastructure, sustainable construction technologies, soil contamination and remediation techniques, nanotechnology in concrete, water resources optimization, bridge engineering, and on-site challenges in concrete construction, emphasizing quality, durability, safety, and sustainable project execution through practical industrial perspectives. The programme also focuses on green building materials, civil and geotechnical aspects of renewable energy projects, pavement evaluation using Highway Development and Management (HDM) tools, and integrated approaches for sustainable infrastructure development. Through expert lectures, industrial case studies, and technical discussions, participants will gain exposure to contemporary engineering practices, strengthen academia–industry collaboration, enhance technical competence, and explore innovative, resilient, and sustainable solutions for research, teaching, consultancy, and professional practice, enabling them to address future infrastructure challenges effectively.
