Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council-National Centre for Cell Science, Pune, Maharashtra invites applications for Ph.D admissions for March 2026 session.

Ph.D- March 2026 session

Eligibility: Post Graduate along with a valid fellowship from CSIR-UGC, DBT, ICMR, BINC. Or should have appeared in the JGEEBILS examination conducted by NCBS/TIFR in December 2024.

Selection Method: Shortlisting of candidates for Interview will be based on their JGEEBILS cut-off score set by NCCS. 

Important Dates

• Last date for application: 09.12.2025.
• List of shortlisted candidates for interview: 19.12.2025.
• First round interview date: 05 to 07.01.2026.
• Declaration of result of first round: 07.01.2026.
• Final round interview date: 08 to 09.01.2026.
• Declaration of result of selected candidates: January 19.
