The U.R.Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru, under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has invited online applications for Graduate, Technician and Commercial Practice Apprentices for the year 2026–27.
Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Automobile, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Civil, Instrumentation, Electrical, and Diploma in Commercial Practice.
Eligibility: For Graduate Apprentice posts, candidates must have completed BE/B.Tech in the relevant discipline from a recognized university. For Technician Apprentice posts, candidates must hold a Diploma in the relevant discipline from a recognized State Board. For Commercial Practice posts, candidates must have passed the Diploma in Commercial Practice from a recognized board. Only those who passed the qualifying examination in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible to apply; candidates who passed prior to 2021 are not eligible.
Stipend: Per month Rs.12,300 for Graduate Apprentices; Rs.10,900 for Diploma and Technician Apprentices.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in the relevant discipline. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. After successful verification, a merit panel will be prepared based on academic scores, and apprentices will be selected according to their position in the panel.
Candidates must first register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal. After NATS registration, eligible candidates must apply through the UMANG portal by searching for “URSC Apprenticeship.” The NATS Enrolment/Apprenticeship Registration Number must be entered in the UMANG application. Candidates are required to upload their degree/diploma certificates, marksheets and other prescribed documents.
